SahodPH displays estimated employee shares in the salary calculator. Use these primary sources to confirm current contribution rules for your employment situation.

Social Security System (SSS)

The calculator uses the business-employer contribution schedule effective January 2025 and estimates the employee share as 5% of the applicable monthly salary credit, from ₱5,000 to ₱35,000. Special cases and later schedule updates may affect the result.

PhilHealth

The calculator uses a 5% premium rate with a ₱10,000 monthly basic salary floor and ₱100,000 ceiling, split equally between employee and employer for employed members. PhilHealth has said the 5% rate remains for 2026.

The calculator uses the regular monthly withholding tax table in RR No. 11-2018, Annex E, effective January 1, 2023 onward. It estimates taxable compensation after the mandatory employee contributions shown in the calculator; annualized and supplementary compensation adjustments are not fully modeled.
